ABSTRACT

Aim: The purpose of this paper is to document historical data on the hernia. Material and method: Historical photocopies in my possession were searched for reports on this subject in order to obtain references not hitherto cited. Results: Four publications were identified. Conclusion: Their publication adds to the literature. Key words: Hernia, historical data, documentation.
